Yes, we have a dedicated area for DofE groups, school groups, and scouts. This area is not bookable online, so please email us with your dates and group numbers to arrange your booking. For more information see our DofE Page
We allow group bookings of up to 4 pitches. For groups larger than this, we can offer exclusive use of the campsite (subject to availability) or arrange a group booking in the DofE area (subject to availability). Please email us with your group size and dates, and we'll see if we can accomodate.
Any group bookings over 4 pitches are at the discretion of management.
All groups bookings must adhere to our quiet time between 10pm and 9am.
Yes, exclusive use of the campsite is available subject to availability and is ideal for larger groups or events. This option cannot be booked online - please email us to enquire.
Yes, we do allow guests to request pitches however this is subject to availability and must be pre-arranged before arrival. If you would like a specific pitch or would like to pitch next to someone, please email us with your request and booking number.
Requests to move pitch will not be accepted on the day of arrival.

Bookings can be made online up to 1 day before your arrival date. If you're looking to book on the day of arrival, please email us and we'll do our best to accomodate.
Bookings must be made online or by email - we don't take bookings over the phone.
We don't have a set minimum stay, but ths can vary at busier times of year. The maximum stay is 28 days, subject to availability. Any minimum stay requirements will be shown at the time of booking.
If you cancel 28 days or more before your arrival date, your deposit is non-refundable, but any remaining balance will be cancelled and you will not need to pay.
If you cancel within 28 days of your arrival date, bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Yes, a 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. The deposit is non-refundable if you cancel.
The remaining balance will be taken automatically 28 days before your arrival date (this may vary slightly depending on weeekends or bank holidays) from the card you orginally booked with.
If you need to change your payment details or would prefer to pay via a payment link, please email us before the 28 days and we can arrange this for you.
No, we don't accept payment on arrival. The remaining balance must be paid in full through the booking system 28 days before your stay.
Check-in is from 2pm-8pm and check-out is by 11am.
We operate on a self check-in basis. When you arrive, you can check your pitch number on our arrivals board and head straight to your pitch and settle in.
If you need any help or have any questions when on-site please use the contact number on our campsite information board.
We can usually accomodate early drop-offs or late pick-ups, but this depends how busy the campsite is.
If you need to leave your car early or after check-out, please email us in advance and we'll let you know what's possible.
The campsite runs on a self check-in basis, but help is available if needed. There is a contact number displayed on our campsite information board, should you need to get in contact with anyone promptly.
Yes, we're a family-friendly campsite with open space and a small play area for children. Children must be supervised at all times.
No, the pub is now permanently closed. The campsite remains open and operates on a self check-in basis.
Yes, we ask all guests to adhere to our quiet time between 10pm and 9am so everyone can enjoy a peaceful stay.
Yes, BBQs are allowed as long as they are raised off the ground, so it does not burn the grass. Please take care to keep the area tidy and dispose of any waste/ashes responsibly.
We do not allow campfires on our site.

No, we don't sell firewood on site. If you're planning to use a BBQ or fire pit, please bring your own wood.
We welcome tents, small campervans (up to 5.3m), and roof top tents. We do not accept caravans or motorhomes. If you're unsure whether your setup will fit, please email us with details and we'll advise.
Yes, we offer electric pitches. We do only have 10 electric pitches available and these can sell out fairly quickly over weekends and summer periods, so best to book in advance. Please select an electric pitch when booking if you need a hook up.
All our pitches are 8x12m, confortably sized to fit 1 unit and 1 car. if you have a larger setup or need extra space, please email us before booking and we'll advise on the best option.
Each pitch includes 1 car only. If you need to bring an additional car, this is charged at £5 per stay and can be added as an 'extra' at the time of booking. Only 1 car to be parked on the pitch at any time. All additional cars must be parked in our additional parking area (subject to availability) or our front carpark (pub).
Yes, we have unisex toilets and showers, plus outdoor plate washing sinks. We also have 2 family rooms (each with a toilet, shower and sink) located to the front of the pub. All facilities are cleaned daily and checked throughout the day.
No, all our facilities are included in the price of your stay. Toilets, shower, family rooms, and plate washing facilities are all free to use.
Yes, well behaved dogs are welcome at the campsite. Please keep them on a lead at all times and clean up after them.
Dogs must not be left unattended on the campsite.
No, we do not charge extra for dogs.
Yes, there are pubs, cafés, and farm shops within a short drive or walk of the campsite offering meals, snacks, and drinks. For specific recommendations and distances, check out our Recommendations Page or email us for suggestions.
